We take a four-round look at the Chicago Bears 2017 draft. We take a mini-snapshot of what they may do.

Another week passed and the Chicago Bears and the rest of the NFL are one week closer to the 2017 NFL Draft (32 days to be exact). The Bears made more moves and speculation is running wild on what they’ll do in the draft.

The Bears hosted free agent quarterback Mark Sanchez and ultimately signed him. That set social media on fire. You thought Jay Cutler caused a stir among Bears fans? The Sanchez signing brought with it some raised eyebrows. Why would the Bears sign him, of all people? They have Mike Glennon, David Fales, Connor Shaw, and now Sanchez?

With the Sanchez signing, the Bears now stay away from quarterback in this draft, right? Not necessarily. While Sanchez hasn’t done much on the field as a quarterback lately, he has gotten kudos for his mentoring of Dak Prescott. Prescott was the fourth-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys in last year’s draft and took over late in the preseason when Tony Romo got injured. Prescott led the Cowboys to a 13-3 record and won the 2016 NFL Offensive Player of the Year Award. Believe it or not, he had Sanchez in his ear throughout the season.

Perhaps Sanchez can do the same with whomever the Bears draft? Plenty of mocks have the Bears choosing a quarterback at three, while others in the second round. In any case, nearly everyone still has the Bears drafting a quarterback pretty early in the draft.

The Bears still have plenty of holes other than quarterback, though. Whoever leads the offense still needs quality receivers and protection, and the defense needs to shore up some spots to continue their improvement.

With that said, here is a snapshot look at the Chicago Bears four-round mock draft:
