Chicago Bears 2017 Mock draft: Four round mock

We take a look at the Chicago Bears’ first four rounds in the 2017 NFL Draft.

While there was no fun during the 2016 regular season, it starts now. Predicting who the Chicago Bears draft is, unfortunately, the most fun part of the season. If general manager Ryan Pace and the scouting department do their job well, however, that changes.

After only three wins this season just 14 over the past three seasons, the Bears have many needs. They have seven picks in the draft, but that may change with a trade or two.

At the moment, we go with what they currently have. They have five picks in the first four rounds. Some believe the players chosen in the first four rounds make up the foundation of a team. Yes, there are diamonds found in the later rounds, but usually the first four rounds provide the most excitement.

It will be interesting to see who Bears general manager Ryan Pace goes after in the draft. Does he go mainly with offensive players so he can get that unit jump started? Or maybe he goes more for defense to improve a unit that played fairly well despite the injuries. With better health and more depth, the defense could remind fans of the old Chicago Bears defenses that struck fear into the hearts of opponents.
