With the 2017 NFL Draft Combine about month away, many draft experts are beginning to roll out their 2017 NFL Mock Drafts. Rotoworld is the latest to reveal their projections.

2017 NFL Mock Draft season is upon us as mock drafts are beginning to become an essential piece of reading for fans looking for insight as to who their favorite team may select April.

On Tuesday, Rotoworld and NBC Sports’ draft expert Josh Norris revealed his first 2017 NFL Mock Draft of the season. Norris had the Bears’ selecting a quarterback with the 3rd overall selection in the 2017 NFL Draft.

More from Chicago Bears

"3. Chicago Bears – QB Mitch Trubisky, UNC – If you think previous years included conflicting quarterback opinions, just wait on the 2017 NFL Draft. Trubisky was a starter for one season. It is vital to evaluate his play when pressured and forced outside of structure, since so much of UNC’s offense is about rhythm."

Norris had the Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers selecting edge rushers Myles Garrett and Derek Barnett respectively ahead of the Bears.

Norris has the Bears selecting the first quarterback of the 2017 NFL Draft in Mitch Trubisky. Trubisky, along with Clemson’s DeShaun Watson and Notre Dame’s DeShone Kizer, is expected to be selected during the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. In terms of who is the top quarterback of the class, the opinion varies depending on what draft expert is ranking them.

Trubisky thrived in his first year as North Carolina’s quarterback in 2016. Trubisky passed for 3,748 yards and 30 touchdowns to go along with a completion percentage of 68 percent. Trubisky also rushed for 308 yards and 5 touchdowns during the 2016 college football season.

From a talent perspective, Trubisky may in fact be the best quarterback in the 2017 NFL Draft. Trubisky has the arm strength, mobility, awareness, and accuracy to succeed at the NFL level. The concern is that Trubisky lacks experience. 2016 was Trubisky’s only season as a starter in college.
