It has been a nice run for the Chicago Cubs to start the 2016 campaign. They are on a historic pace, possibly making this a special season for their fans.

The Chicago Cubs have gone on a super pace to start the 2016 season. At 24-6, they own the best record in baseball.

They have won games in a variety of ways. They have won close, one-run games and they have bombed their opponents. Most of the time, they have bombed their opponents.

The Cubs are on a historic pace. They are playing nearly perfect baseball. Their pitching, offense and defense is second to none at the moment.

As you could see from the above graph, the Chicago Cubs are showing no weakness in any area.

Of course, the question is whether they can keep this pace up for the entire season. No, they will not finish winning eighty percent of their games the way they are now. They will not have three of the top four ERA’s among starters.

The important thing is to continue to play at a high level, if not a historic level. They just have to concern themselves about playing better than any other team in baseball today, not better than any other team in baseball history.

With that said, let’s take a look at how the Chicago Cubs are pounding their way to history so far:
