Chicago Bears mock draft: Full seven-round picks
With the NFL Draft happening later this week, we release our final Chicago Bears mock draft, this time for the entire seven rounds.
The 2016 NFL Draft is just about upon us. The lives of some of the top prospects in college football will be changed forever. The fortunes of some NFL teams may also be changed with some of these picks.
Of course, since the start of the season and the transactions made through free agency, there has been much speculation on who the Chicago Bears will take with their top pick (I have had five mocks).
We will not know who the Bears pick until Thursday night, but we can take a look at history and get a good idea.
Head coach John Fox has had a history of going for edge rushers early in his regime with other teams. He got Julius Peppers in Carolina, and got Von Miller when he was in Denver.
While the first round pick is the sexy pick that everyone gets enamored with, the Chicago Bears’ fortunes could be made with some of the later picks.
Having a scouting crew that can recognize value talent is crucial for a team to have a successful draft. The Chicago Bears have nine picks in this draft, so they will have some chances to find some players who may help bring the Monsters of the Midway back.
