Artie Burns (6-foot-0, 195 pounds), CB, Miami

When you play in the University of Miami secondary, you need to be fast. Artie Burns is just that. He is a track star who broke the American record in the 100 yard dash (7.68 seconds).

Burns could have used another year in school, but his mother died in October and, with his father being in jail, he took over the care for his two younger brothers.

While declaring early may cost Burns some slots in the draft, whichever team that drafts him will be extremely happy with their decision.

Burns has a good body with long arms to harass receivers. He uses very good technique in the open field. Of course, he has the world-class speed to keep up with anyone.

At Miami, Burns was versatile. He played some time at safety. He would mainly be a corner, Fangio could always move him around the field when needed.

In 2015, Burns had 36 tackles, five pass breakups and six interceptions.

Miami has been a factory for NFL players, and Artie Burns will be another Cane in the league. He may not go where his talents ultimately say he should, but when he starts to get accustomed to the NFL, there will be a lot of teams kicking themselves for not drafting him.
