Before the Chicago Bears dip into the free agency pool, they have their own players who are ready to hit the market. Which one of them should stay, and who should be allowed to walk?

The Chicago Bears are expected to hit the free agency market when the new season starts on March 9. Before they decide on who they will bring in, they have to decide on some of their own potential free agents.

From Alshon Jeffery to Zach Miller, there are some key players who played their way to another contract in Chicago, or who played their way out of the city.

General manager Ryan Pace has some tough decisions to make in his second offseason with the Chicago Bears. He has the task of rebuilding the team almost brick-by-brick, and to do so, he may need to bid farewell to players who are popular with the fans.

Before the Chicago Bears reach the free agent period, the rumors will be flying fast and furious. The Bears are expected to be big players. According to Overthecap.com, they have over $52.5 million available in salary cap space, and with some cuts, they are expected to go over $67 million. That means they can hit the market hard.

Of course, it is important that the Chicago Bears do not blow all of their cash and choose the wrong players. While they have a great deal of cash, they must also look for some good deals, like the one they made when they signed Pernell McPhee last offseason.

Some of their own players could help the Bears get back to contender status. They already know the system, and some have the leadership skills that can help the younger players. Pace and head coach John Fox need to decide who those players are.

Here are some potential free agents who played with the Chicago Bears this past season. Let’s see who should be re-signed and who should be allowed to walk away:
