Will Fuller (6-foot-0, 185 pounds) — Notre Dame

Notre Dame sure has some NFL talent on that team. The latest one is Will Fuller.

Fuller is the deep threat option that many teams search for. He may be the best deep threat receiver in this year’s class of wide receivers.

In his last two seasons, Fuller had 138 catches for 2,352 yards (17 yards per catch) and 29 touchdowns.

Fuller has great speed to create separation from defenders. He also has the ability to streak out, then come back for the ball.

Fuller has the ability to draw a lot of flags. When he explodes with his speed, defenders need to grab a hold of his jersey to try to keep up. He also gets good position for the catch, and his stop-and-go ability draws illegal contact or pass interference calls.

Fuller will need to gain weight. Defenders can knock him out of routes with his slender body. Of course, they would have to catch him first to do that.

Fuller also has to work on his hands. Actually, he needs to use his hands more. He tends to use his body to make catches, and does not snatch the ball out of the air. When he does that, the ball can bounce off his pads or defenders can poke the ball away.

Fuller can extend the field for the Chicago Bears offense. He can be the big-play receiver for them if they let Jeffery go. If they keep Jeffery, it could be bombs away for Cutler, but it would also open things up underneath for White and the running backs.
