Scooby Wright III (6-foot-0, 246) — Arizona

Wright has what you want in a linebacker — he has good instinct, has quickness and is relentless.

Wright usually puts himself in position to make a big play. He has good anticipation and can jump the snap, helping him get into the backfield consistently. This is something the Chicago Bears linebacker corps needs.

Wright’s instincts help him since he is quick, not fast. He does possess excellent lateral movement, so he can shed blocks when engaged.

In 2014, Wright had one of the most dominant seasons any defensive player could have. He led the nation is tackles (164) and tackles for loss (31), had 15 sacks and forced six fumbles. He won the Bronco Nagurski Trophy, the Lombardi Award and the Chuck Bednarik Award.

This season, however, knee and foot injuries limited his play. He played in just three games, then entered his name into the draft.

If Wright is clear medically, he could have value. His ceiling appears to be in second round, though I have seen some mock him all the way down to the fifth and some in the first. If he is in the third or fourth, he would be valuable.
