After another disappointing finish, the Chicago Bears are looking for some changes. One of the biggest ones could be at running back, where we could be seeing Matt Forte leave.

The Chicago Bears finished another disappointing season last Sunday by losing to the Detroit Lions, thus finishing in last place for the second consecutive season.

While the running game was one of the bright spots on the team, there will be changes. Matt Forte, one of the faces of the Chicago Bears, will likely be playing with another uniform next season. The Bears still have good, young athletic backs in his place, so the future is still bright for the rushing game.

The Chicago Bears had a solid running game in 2015. They ranked 11th in yards per game at just over 115 yards. They ranked 12th in touchdowns with 13, and they ranked fifth in fewest fumbles with just five.

The running backs did that even as the offensive line deteriorated late in the season. Injuries ravaged the line, and at the end it was in shambles.

Before we find out how the Forte saga ends, let’s take a look at how the running game fared in 2015:
