Now that the Chicago Bears‘ 2015 season is just about over, it is time to take an early look at which players on this season’s roster should or should not be on next season’s roster.
With the last two frustrating losses at home, the Chicago Bears bid farewell to their 2015 season. Sure, they can try to win some games in the end to surpass last season’s horrible total, but they will miss the playoffs for the fifth straight season.
With the three games remaining, head coach John Fox and general manager Ryan Pace will have some decisions to make. Yes, there are holes in the roster that need to be filled, but in order to know where to go, they need to know which players on the current roster will be on next season’s roster.
You can find out a lot about a player when the games don’t have much on the line. Does the player continue to play hard, or throws it in and just goes through the motion until the season ends?
The Chicago Bears have some players who will be eligible for free agency. The regime needs to decide whether to open their wallets on those players, or reallocate the money on other players.
Here is an early look at which players could stay or go after the season. Whatever the case, it should be an interesting offseason for the Chicago Bears.
