A shorthanded Chicago Bulls team needs their young players like Tony Snell and Doug McDermott, and new addition Jordan Crawford to step up in the absence of Mike Dunleavy. Injuries are an unfortunate part of the game, and the best teams figure out how to overcome them en route to the ultimate goal of winning a championship.
While all three players need to contribute in the absence of Dunleavy, Tony Snell should ultimately get the nod as the starter until Mike returns. His improving offense, ability to spread the floor with his solid three-point shooting (37 percent which is above league average) and his elite potential on defense makes him an ideal starter.
If the Bulls want to win a championship, they need every player on their roster to step up, not just the wing players that will temporarily replace Dunleavy.
