January 25 vs. Miami Heat

This is the first matchup between two teams that battled over the years and have no love lost between them.

The Heat were the Bulls’ whipping boys when Michael Jordan led the Bulls in the eighties and nineties.

The Heat had their turn the last few years with LeBron leading them.

The Heat struggled without LeBron and had a lot of injuries last season. After appearing in four consecutive NBA Finals, they failed to make the playoffs.

The Heat will go out and prove that last season was a blip on the radar. They had Justise Winslow fall on their lap in the draft, they re-signed Dwyane Wade and Goran Dragic, and signed Gerald Green and Amar’e Stoudemire, and will have Josh McRoberts and Hassan Whiteside for an entire season.

The Bulls and Heat always have good battles. This season, some picked the Heat, not the Bulls, to give the Cavaliers the hardest time in the Eastern Conference. The Bulls will want to show that THEY not only will take care of the Heat, they will also take care of the Cavaliers as well.

This matchup should be as intense as ever.
