December 25 — Christmas vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

The NBA schedule is grueling. Many believe the schedule should be considerably shorter (yes, LeBron, I am looking at you).

Many feel that the REAL NBA season opens up on Christmas. Everything before then is just jostling, getting ready for Christmas.

On Christmas Day, the Bulls face the Oklahoma City Thunder on their court.

The Thunder were ravaged by injuries last season, most notably to superstar forward Kevin Durant. The one some believe is second only to LeBron was on the court for just twenty seven games last season due to a foot injury.

Durant is ready to show that he is healthy again. There is no better way to prove that than a prime time Christmas performance.

If Durant and Derrick Rose are healthy and ready to go, it will be a great matchup. Both players, former MVP’s dealing with health issues, are trying to get back to the top of the heap.

Rose and Russell Westbrook train together during the summer, so, as friends tend to do, they will go after each other during the game.

This should be a good game, and the fans will get their money’s worth.
