Five Players Chicago Cubs Should Get To Be Real Contenders
The Chicago Cubs are in the thick of the playoff chase so far. In order to stay there, however, there are some deals that need to be made. Here is a list of five players who could help the Cubs be real contenders.

The Cubs are off to a good start in 2015. Their 30-25 is the team’s best start since they went 34-21 in 2008. They need to make some deals, though, if they want a real chance at the postseason.
After spending most of the season in second place, the Cubs are now in third place, but just a half game behind the Pittsburgh Pirates. Both, of course, are looking up at the St. Louis Cardinals.
The Cubs have floated between six games to three games over .500 since May 16. They are treading water right now, and need to add some players who can make a difference to this roster.
I am going to list five players who may be difference makers. I’m not saying the team needs ALL of these players to be successful, but a combination of these players can do it. These players may help the Chicago Cubs go over the top and make it to the postseason.
