Chicago Bears 2015 Draft Prospects: First Round Flexibility

The Bears draft an outside linebacker
There would only be two players at this position I would absolutely go for — Dante Fowler Jr. out of Florida, or Vic Beasley out of Clemson.
I believe Fowler will go to Jacksonville at number three. He is too good of an athlete to go any lower. Some teams will have to make some big mistakes for him to get to seven, but there is a reason most of these teams are picking so high, so there is a chance.
The more realistic pick here is Beasley.
Beasley has probably the most explosive first step of anyone in the draft. He knocks tackles off-balance with his speed. He can turn the corner on blockers, or he can spin back on the inside.
Beasley has great closing speed so he is good in pursuit. He shows good awareness for the ball, having seven career forced fumbles.
The Bears also have a need at inside linebacker, but there is no one that is good enough to invest a top-ten pick.
There are other outside linebackers such as Lorenzo Mauldin of Louisville or Markus Golden of Missouri who could be had later (good picks in the fourth or fifth round for each).
With the signing of McPhee, the need for outside linebacker may not be as high. If Beasley is there, however, he could be the pick.
