Eli Harold (6-foot-4, 250 pounds), OLB, Virginia

In 2014, Eli Harold had 7 sacks and 14.5 tackles for loss. He also had an interception.

Harold has good speed and excellent burst off the snap. He is agile enough to sidestep blockers and has the ability to go sideline-to-sideline to chase down ball carriers. He has a high motor and plays hard to the whistle, which is something the Bears lacked the last two years.

At this point, Harold needs to combine his power, athleticism and technique. At times his burst gets him upfield too much, then he has to come back, and that creates more ground for him to cover. That would be the in the hands of Vic Fangio and his assistants to mesh his abilities and technique.

With all of his ability, Harold can be a Joker linebacker. He could line up all over the field at different times, giving the opposing offenses different looks. Fangio loves showing different looks, so Harold may become a favorite of his.
