Chicago Bears Draft: Prospects Team Should Target

The Bears have a need at defensive tackle. Jeremiah Ratliff is getting up there in age and his body is breaking down. Stephen Paea had a very good season in 2014 (one of the few bright spots), but he did it on his contract year, and all his previous years he wasn’t able to stay healthy.
When you look at Brown, you see a prototypical defensive tackle. He is 6-foot-4 and weighs 320 pounds. He carries his weight well and is able to redirect well to make plays away from the line of scrimmage.
Brown is quick off the ball and is able to get into the backfield and create havoc. He locates the ball well and always has his eyes on the ball, even when engaged.
Brown needs to show more power in his hands to latch onto ball carriers better. He also needs to show more pass rush moves instead of trying to just slip past blockers.
Adding Brown to the rotation with Ego Ferguson and Will Sutton would give the Bears a good, young corps of defensive tackles. They would split time and be fresh for the fourth quarter. They would be good in stopping the run, something that’s been a sore spot for the defense.
