Most Disappointing Player: Kirk Hinrich

I know this seems like an easy selection to some — being that some Bulls fans call him “Hinbrick” — or just gasp at the thought of Kirk Hinrich stepping onto the floor.

But, if Hinrich’s not knocking down open looks, what good is the 11-year guard out of Kansas really good for? His body has taken so much punishment while in his second stint in Chicago, including missing five games during the second quarter of the season.

Kirk’s given everything he has to the city of Chicago, and I for one, am thankful for his services. But, Father Time’s unbeaten (while we wait on a ruling on Tim Duncan) and time is certainly catching up to Hinrich.

In the 16 games Hinrich played in during the quarter, he’s scored just 6.1 points per game, while shooting just under 40 percent (39.5%) and only hit three-pointers at a 29.5 percent rate.

Plus, these lapses on defense haven’t helped matters…
