  • Well, 2014 is almost over. For some, it’s been a great year, full of happiness and greatness. For others, the end cannot come soon enough.

The same can be said about Chicago sports. It has been an up-and-down year for our sports team. There have been some great stories off the field, but on the field (or floor, or ice) results have not been to our liking.

There were no championships for our sports team, but one team, the Blackhawks, came oh so close to defending their title from the 2012-13 season.

The year 2014 was not completely frustrating, however. There were a lot of moves made this year that could set the city up to see a great many victories, and maybe a few titles. Yes, in the refrain many Cubs fans are so familiar with, “Wait Till Next Year!”
