In the first 21 games for the Chicago Bulls, the co-Central Division leaders have been through quite a bit in the “first quarter” of the season. During their 13-8 start, the Bulls have only had their starting lineup — plus their sixth man, Taj Gibson — for just three whole games all year.

Add in a controversial thought — and a strong stance — from superstar point guard Derrick Rose and the Bulls haven’t been short on headlines.

Through it all, the Bulls have looked really strong at times.

(Per example: A 105-80 slaughter of the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night in Chicago.)

But, the Bulls have also looked really poor at times.

(Per example: A 99-90 loss to Paul George, George Hill, David West-less Indiana Pacers.)

We’ll take a look at the best (and worst) from the Bulls in the first quarter of the 2014-2015 season.
