The Chicago Bears come out of their bye week to start the second half of the season. The first half was not something to write home about for them after going 3-5. The offense was surprisingly inconsistent, while the defense’s struggles were not surprising.
There was some locker room tension going on with the Bears as well. A locker room tirade by Brandon Marshall was widely reported. Also, presumed leader Lance Briggs has told us that he has basically checked out of his career in Chicago.
Marc Trestman’s job security may be on the line. Mel Tucker’s time in Chicago may already be done, at least in the fans’ point of view.
With all this swirling around Soldier Field, the Bears start their second half on the road, where ironically enough they play better than at home. They have a tough game to start on Sunday, they travel to Lambeau Field to face their tormentors, the Green Bay Packers.
Let’s take a look at what we should look at for the Bears to pull out a victory.
