Bulls Preseason: Grades, thoughts and more

I feel awful for knocking Jimmy Butler down to an “A-” because of his thumb injury, so if you plan to bash me in the Comments section at the end of this, feel free.
Butler before the injury was sensational. In the six games Butler played in, the fourth-year guard led the Bulls in minutes (25.9), shooting percentage (58.8), steals (1.67 per game) and scored a career-high 29 points in a wild 85-84 win against the Atlanta Hawks on October 16th.
Butler suffered the sprained thumb that slowed his preseason roll on October 19th against the Charlotte Hornets. The MRI showed just a sprain to the left thumb and he missed the second half of the game (plus the final two games).
Will the Bulls pay Jimmy Butler before the Halloween deadline? That’s a question I simply cannot answer.
The question I can answer however, “Should the Bulls pay Jimmy Butler?”
The answer to that is simply … absolutely.
