Get Marshall involved in the passing game.
Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall are joined at the hip. There is a special bond between them that no other receiver can match. With Marshall on the team, Cutler will look to him. If he can’t get the ball to Marshall, the offense bogs down, and Cutler just isn’t the same.
Marshall has been dealing with an ankle injury. He said it was an injury that should have kept him out of four games. Well, he played in those four games, had one
spectacular game and three that were not, to say the least. He declared himself healthy last week, but that was not evident in his play. Another week should have him better.
This game has some great receivers in it. There was talk about the best wide receiver duo in the NFL, and most said Marshall and Jeffery, but the other duo that was mentioned in the same breath was Atlanta’s duo of Jones and Roddy White.
Marshall is one of the elite receivers in the league and this game gives him a stage to do his work with all eyes on him. He relishes this situation, so if he is at full strength, he should get the ball.
