Blackhawks: 2014-2015 Season Dates to Remember

October 11th: The home slate begins

In this game last season, the Blackhawks raised a fifth Stanley Cup title banner to the United Center rafters. As for the actual game, the Hawks beat the Washington Capitals, 6-4.

For the 2014-2015 home opener, the Hawks will host the Buffalo Sabres. As bad as the Sabres were in 2013-2014, they gave the Hawks some problems in the team’s two meetings, both Blackhawk wins.
