Probably the most interesting part of the team other than Bryant is the development of these big time power arms they are developing, and this Smokies team is loaded with them. It’s starts with Closer in waiting Armando Rivero. He had a little blip the other day giving up a game tying HR in a save situation, but other than that he’s been money. They also have the highly touted Arodys Vizcaino, Hunter Cervenka, And even P.J. Francesco. The thing that stands out from this quartet of arms are the gaudy so/9. They can miss the bats. Rivero 13.7, Vizcaino 12.3, Cervenka 10.6, Francescon at a meager 9.4 so/9 by this staff’s standards. It definitely looks like the Bullpen will be in good hands going forward for this franchise.
