David Terrell was an animal at Michigan. Think former stand-out Braylon Edwards, just better. Terrell had two 1,000-yard seasons, as well as being a First-Team All-American and being named Orange Bowl MVP. This guy was an absolute stud who would go down as the best Bears wide receiver of all time. In theory.
Terrell never had 45 catches or 700 yards in any of his four seasons with the team. His career year was 2004, when he caught 42 passes for 699 yards and only one touchdown. Those are career numbers for an undrafted free agent, not a top-10 pick.
Terrell probably would’ve been better, had he had some NFL talent throwing him the football. Jonathan Quinn and Craig Krenzel are both the epitome of horrible quarterbacks. Regardless, his career numbers speak volumes to his own talent.
Terrell has recently been in trouble with the law on a number of cases, making this sad story, even sadder.
