51st overall-Joel Bitonio-Nevada- Bitonio is somewhat undersized as most tackles exceed 6’4″ due to the preference of length to keep blockers away from the lineman’s chest so they won’t lose leverage to be bull rushed, or spun on with an inside path to the quarterback. At 6’4″ he falls a little short but his arms have sufficient length to compensate. Tough, gritty competitor with a mean streak, and all the intangibles to be a success at the next level. A fast riser who’s climbing up boards. May not even be available here.

Alternate pick-Jack Mewhort-Ohio State- Mewort is a technician at his position. Understands angles and leverage, and works to out science an opponent rather than just beat them with brute physical strength. Tested at average physical measurables, but plays well above those on the field as he has coordinated feet and hands, and is best utilized in a zone blocking scheme. Can play on either side and even at Guard if needed to move in a pinch.
