6. Chris Sale, Pitcher, White Sox

Chris Sale is the kind of guy who could by a Cy Young Award candidate for years, and he was already off to one of the best starts in the MLB before he was placed on the DL. Sale is not only young, but throws some of the most vicious pitches in the entire MLB. If there are any White Sox fans who don’t appreciate Sale yet, then they can’t consider themselves a fan of the team.

Sale should be considered one of the best pitchers in the MLB already, but has a snag. His pitching motion. When I watch Sale, I just see elbow problems. He throws so hard that I can’t imagine a career without injuries. But I sure hope he does avoid them, because he’s a pleasure to watch.

If he stays healthy, I could definitely see him at or at least near the top of this list., but with that risk I’ll put him in the sixth-slot.
