9. Corey Crawford, Goalie, Blackhawks

Corey Crawford is vilified much more often than he should be. Crawford has been a major part of a team that won the Stanley Cup, and was robbed of winning the Conn Smythe Trophy for playoff MVP. Despite this, fans still complain about the soft goals he’s given up. Again, after winning a Stanley Cup.

Eventually, Hawks fans will see that Crawford is one of the best goaltenders in the NHL, and as he continues to grow and progress, he will climb the ladder of elite goalies. At a certain point, fans will realize this and flock to buy his jersey.

While he probably won’t ever get past Tuukka Rask in either jersey sales or skill for goalies, he should eventually surpass teammates who sit above him on the list. This is probably the one pick on here I’m not sure about, but I sure hope he does for being one of the best players on one of the best teams in the NHL.
