Although the Bears have some real good talent at the linebacker position the performances of their young draft picks, and the uncertainty of their vets still makes linebacker a position of need in the future, and the present. Depth at linebacker is pretty important as the Bears  quickly found out last season when their corp was decimated with injury. This season Jon Bostic, and Khaseem Greene will be heavily evaluated to see if last season was just a case of throwing rookies out there too soon, and in need of further development, or if they lack the instincts to play the position at the next level. McClellin gets a shot to show if he was indeed miscast, and if the OLB position is the one he should have played in the first place. Bears also hope DJ Williams and Lance Briggs can stay on the field and play at their full abilities. If they do this will be a formidable line-backing corp. Of course you don’t win super-bowls hoping on ifs to pan out. This draft has some amazing looking players at the linebacker spot, and come in all forms, shapes, and sizes.  There is no good reason to ignore it in this draft. Especially with the present filled with question marks, and the future with even more.
