Best Value For Bears In Every Round By Position: Tight End
Oct 26, 2013; Chapel Hill, NC, USA; North Carolina Tar Heels tight end Eric Ebron (85) drives past Boston College Eagles defensive back Bryce Jones (17) during the second half at Kenan Memorial Stadium. North Carolina won 34-10. Mandatory Credit: Liz Condo-USA TODAY Sports
14th overall- Eric Ebron– North Carolina– Ebron has everything you want in a TE. Size, Speed, Athleticism, short area quickness, good blocker, big catch radius, soft hands, and scheme versatility. He and starter Martellus Bennett would make quite an imposing pair. He may even turn out to be a better TE than Bennett. He’s like a huge WR out there. His effort is as abundant as his talent.
Dec 30, 2013; San Diego, CA, USA; Texas Tech Red Raiders tight end Jace Amaro (22) is tackled by Arizona State Sun Devils defensive back Damarious Randall (3) after a reception during the first half in the Holiday Bowl at Qualcomm Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports
Alternate pick: Jace Amaro– Texas Tech- Thicker build than Ebron, but still very fluid for his size. He’s not as fast or athletic as Ebron, however not far off. Tough runner after the catch, soft hands, and great in the red zone. Does have some attitude concerns, but nearly as skilled as Ebron.
