The Chicago Blackhawks superstar has a major milestone on deck this season and you’re not going to want to miss it, so what game should get tickets for?

The Chicago Blackhawks struck gold when the won the draft lottery in 2007 and the right to select Patrick Kane with the first overall pick in the 2007 NHL Draft. They knew they were getting an elite player that can really help them moving forward. What they didn’t know is that they were getting one of if not the player in the history of their franchise.

Kane has had one of the most decorated careers in the history of any Blackhawks player. He has won the Stanley Cup three times, The Calder Trophy as the leagues top rookie, the Hart Trophy as the league MVP, the Conn Smythe Trophy as the most valuable player of the playoffs, and the Art Ross Trophy as the leagues leading scorer.

Now, Kane enters the 2019-20 season with 938 points. Unless he has an injury that keeps him out for a lengthy amount of time he should reach the 1000 point milestone. That is a milestone that is very hard to reach and Kane reaching it during his age 31 season says a lot about how elite he has been. Hall of Fame players usually don’t reach it until their mid-30s so the sky is the limit for Kane’s final career numbers.

So when exactly can we expect Kane to score his 1000th career point? The answer is more simple than you might think. Kane has a 1.038 points per game average and he needs 62 points in order to reach the milestone. Based on his career average, he should reach 62 points in his 60th game of the season. This is all assuming Kane plays every game (Kane has played 327 out of the last 328 Blackhawks games) in order for this to be accurate.

That takes us to February 19th, 2020 when the New York Rangers are at the United Center. It is the 60th game of the season and the game you can expect Patrick Kane to score his 1000th point. This is a major milestone so the most die-hard fans aren’t gonna wanna miss it. It should be a very good year for Kane as he looks to lead the Blackhawks back to the playoffs to end a two-season drought.
