Kyle Hendricks will take the mound for the Chicago Cubs on Sunday. Hendricks was one of the best pitchers in baseball last season but has had a slow start to the season. Hendricks’ command seems off and his already low velocity has been even lower.

That being said, Hendricks was very good in his last time out. Against the Pittsburgh Pirates last week, Hendricks pitched six scoreless innings. Was that the start he needed to get his season on track? We may find out on Sunday night. Hendricks will undoubtedly have his work cut out for him against the strong Red Sox’ offense. Boston will send left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez to the mound to face Hendricks.
