The 2017 NFL Draft was full of fun and exciting picks. The first round was an interesting mix of safe and reliable selections and huge grabs for upside. Trades were aplenty and there were many surprises.

It is too early to know exactly how these guys will turn out, but we can use the information provided to put together an early opinion on how each team did. The best way to do that is with draft grades. Here are the draft grades for each first round selection of the 2017 NFL Draft.

. Defensive End. Cleveland Browns. MYLES GARRETT. A+

This one is simple. Texas A&M edge rusher Myles Garrett is the clear top prospect in the 2017 NFL Draft. He is an absolute stud pass rusher on the edge and with no clear-cut star quarterback on the board, this was an easy decision for the Cleveland Browns.

Garrett has elite athleticism on the edge. He shows ridiculous burst off the line of scrimmage, bends around the edge with ease and wreaks havoc with a well-rounded skillset. Make no mistake about it, Garrett is going to come in and make life difficult for quarterbacks facing the Browns.

His speed and athleticism on the edge are painfully obvious. Garrett is undoubtedly an elite-level athlete for a defensive lineman. However, do no discount his ability to convert that speed into power. At 6-foot-4, 272 pounds, Garrett is bigger than most realize. He is an absolute monster on the edge who can rush the passer and also make plays in the backfield against the run.

The Browns hired Gregg Williams to be their defensive coordinator this offseason. Williams runs an aggressive 4-3 defense that will be able to use Garrett perfectly. He is going to be a monster at defensive end for Cleveland and will immediate take their defense to the next level.

Make no mistake about it, the Cleveland Browns crushed this one out of the park.
