The Chicago Bears look like they will lose Adam Gase. They have no shortage of candidates, however, should he leave.

The Chicago Bears have ended another season without the playoffs. Now the time has come for them to embark on a mission to reorganize things.

One of the changes the team will face will be at offensive coordinator. Adam Gase has done a great job this year (despite the record), and has earned kudos from the mercurial quarterback, Jay Cutler.

Gase has worked well with Cutler, and Cutler has seen the results. He had one of his best seasons as a Chicago Bears quarterback. Gase connected with Cutler in a way that the previous four offensive coordinators weren’t able.

Cutler has nothing but praise for Gase, and talked about the possibility of him leaving the Chicago Bears. “If he gets that shot, I’m excited for him,” Cutler said. “He deserves it. He’s done some really good things in this league and they speak for themselves, whether it’s Tim Tebow or Peyton Manning or myself or Kyle Orton. Whoever he’s worked with, he’s found ways to manage the system and make them successful.”

Gase did such a fine job that he is now a man in high demand. After having success with Peyton Manning, it was amazing that he did not get a head coaching job last season.

Reports have him with three interviews already (Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns), and that number may go up, so the Chicago Bears need to prepare for his departure.

The Chicago Bears will have no shortage of candidates to replace Gase should he leave. There are several candidates head coach John Fox had in mind when he went to Denver, and some of them are still available or may be available.

Here are some candidates who can be the Chicago Bears’ SIXTH offensive coordinator in eight seasons:
