Over the course of the regular season, the Chicago Cubs went from being a nice little team that might contend for a title in a few years to being the World Series favorite, and baseball’s best story. Here is how all that went down.

The 2015 Chicago Cubs have written quite a story.

Most experts expected them to end their four-year reign in the basement of the National League Central, but figured they would still be a year or two away before being serious title contenders.

Something happened along the way, however.

The Cubs went from being a nice little team with talented kids to being a powerhouse who is now the favorite to win the World Series and a fan-favorite.

How did all this happen?

The Cubs spent the entire season pretty much ignored while the networks talked glowingly about the Toronto Blue Jays, the Kansas City Royals, the New York Mets, the St, Louis Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
