More from Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears face the New Orleans on Monday night in a battle of disappointing teams. Both teams are struggling, but with the Saints playing in the awful NFC South, they actually have a shot at winning the division. The Bears can at least hurt the Saints’ playoff chances with a victory.

Utter chaos has reigned supreme up at Halas Hall. Coach Marc Trestman’s philosophy of letting the players take care of things in-house has blown up in his face, as discipline has lacked both on the field and in the locker room, with no consequences occurring as a result.

Now, we found out that the coaches are running wild as well. Aaron Kromer committed the cardinal mistake of speaking to a reporter about the frustrations of a player. In this case, it was Kromer’s frustrations with Jay Cutler.

I don’t think what Kromer said was wrong, but that is something that should be taken care among the team. Kromer broke the trust between player and coach, and he cannot come back. With the troubles on defense and special teams, there should be an overhaul on the coaching staff, perhaps resulting in Trestman losing his job.
