Chicago Bears: 3 reasons to trade for Minkah Fitzpatrick

Reason No. 2: Massive Versatility
The Dolphins have no idea what they want to do with Fitzpatrick. Last week against the Baltimore Ravens, they had Fitzpatrick playing three different positions throughout the game — nickel corner, safety and linebacker.
While Fitzpatrick is certainly talented enough to play all three of those positions, he deserves to have some stability. Miami hasn’t committed to him playing just one position, which has frustrated Fitzpatrick, according to multiple reports out of Miami.

His versatility is incredible. Should he come to the Bears, though, I would argue he is best suited as a slot corner. His physicality and football intelligence is way above the average defensive back, and the Bears would gain much by placing him there.
Should an injury happen elsewhere — for example, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix or Prince Amukamara — it would be a luxury to have Fitzpatrick potentially fill in for either one of them if need be.
