Chicago Bears: Keys to victory against Broncos

6. Conclusion
A loss to the Broncos doesn’t mean the Bears season is over, however after week one’s loss to the Packers, if there’s one thing that’s clear, it’s that the Bears still have some work to do. The Broncos can be labeled as the perfect test for the Bears.
Denver is a team that’s getting acclimated to a new head coach and still has some work to do in terms of forming an identity on both sides of the ball. What this means is that the Broncos are motivated and ready to prove to the rest of the NFL that they’re a team on the rise.
Overall, for the Bears on offense, things will start and end up with Mitch Trubisky. If Trubisky can look like he did in 2018, then the Bears could very easily come in and win the game. However, if he continues to struggle, then it’ll have to be another game where the defense will need to win.
On defense, the Bears will need Khalil Mack to step up in a big way. He’s got experience playing in Denver but has never done so in September. All Mack needs to do is consistently get after the quarterback and then the Bears will be in a situation where they’ll be in a position to win the game.
Even right now, the Bears have a chance to get their season back on track however it won’t be easy. The Bears cannot underestimate a team that’s looking to pick up their first win of the season as well. The Broncos are the type of team that will feed off of just one play and use it as energy to help them win the game. However, the Bears will come out and play like the more motivated team, which will lead to them being victorious because they are also more experienced but expect this to be another defensive, low-scoring game.
