Chicago Bulls: Ranking best duos in the Central Division

Chicago Bulls
Lauri Markkanen and Zach LaVine
Coming off a career year, Zach LaVine has to be licking his chops for the upcoming season. He has not played 82 games since his sophomore season, but if he can remain healthy this year, we’ll likely see him in the 2020 NBA All Star Game here in Chicago.

Next to him in that same game could end up being his teammate, Lauri Markkanen. As one of the NBA’s best young duos, Markkanen and LaVine gave the Bulls a combined 42.4 points, 13.7 rebounds and 5.9 assists last year.
Let’s assume they both stay on the court and take another step forward. Could we see a combined stat line of 45.0 points, 15.0 boards and 7.5 assists? If so, go ahead and throw them both in the All Star Game now.
The great thing about these two is that they will have the most help they’ve had as a duo, yet. Adding Otto Porter Jr. last year and bringing in Thaddeus Young, Tomas Satoransky and Coby White this year should help alleviate some pressure and allow them to flourish even more.
Bulls fans are simply waiting for this roster to get through the season as healthy as possible, but most notably it’s LaVine and Markkanen. They are on track for stardom, but health is the only question mark.
