6. Oakland Raiders

Just months after completing one of the most notable trades of this generation for Khalil Mack, could Jon Gruden and the Bears make another trade? It could happen.

The Raiders are essentially in the first stage of a full-scale rebuild and need to begin adding young playmakers to their roster. They have a clear need at running back with Marshawn Lynch and Doug Martin both aging and in their thirties.

Although the Raiders have been linked to Le’Veon Bell, getting Jordan Howard might be in their best interest. Howard is in a contract year, which means that Oakland will be able to keep him around long-term if they like what they see after the 2019 season.

In fact, Oakland needs to add a premium player to their backfield if they want to have success on offense. In 2018, the Raiders had just nine rushing touchdowns and 1,628 rushing yards. When it comes to draft picks, the Bears could negotiate for the Raiders’ second-round pick (35th overall) or they could go after the Raiders third, fourth, or fifth-round picks which are 66th, 106th, and 141st overall.

Although 2018 was a down year for Jordan Howard, he still managed to rush for 935 yards, which means that if the Bears do trade him to the Raiders, they should at least get a third-round pick in return. However, if the Raiders are unwilling to do so, then the Bears could demand a 2019 day three pick and a 2020 day two pick.
