Chicago Bears Schedule: 5 toughest games in 2018
By Ryan Heckman
Week 1: On the road against Green Bay Packers
Bears versus Packers.
Season opener.
Aaron Rodgers returns.
Lambeau Field is rocking.
Primetime — Sunday Night Football.
The Green Bay Packers will be celebrating the opening of their 100th season as an NFL franchise.
Yeah, you could say the stakes are as high as they’ve ever been in week one for the black and blue division. The Bears will be looking to play spoiler in this one, and my goodness, it would be quite the night to do it.
At the moment, the Bears seem to be a much more cohesive organization. With the recent report that Rodgers is upset with the team making decisions without consulting him first, many wonder how strenuous the relationship has become between quarterback and organization.
You have to believe there will be more emotion from current players, on both sides, than ever before. The guys on these rosters that have experienced this rivalry recently have seen some pretty intense moments between the teams, but none will be more intense than week one of the 2018 season.
It is going to be a very, very tough game for the Bears. But, if they can pull off a win like this to open the season, who knows just how much that will affect their confidence going forward.
