Week 7: Home against New England Patriots

The biggest advantage the Bears will have in week seven is the fact that they are at home. Taking on the greatest quarterback of all-time, the best coach in football and the league’s scariest tight end is not going to be a very feasible task.

Tom Brady has confirmed he will officially play this season, according to ESPN — as if there was ever any doubt. Rob Gronkowski, however, might take a while to confirm such a status.

Either way, as long as Brady is under center and “The Hoody” is holding the clipboard, the Bears have their work cut out for them.

They key in this game, as will be in most of the games on this list, will be for the front seven to get a lot of pressure on the quarterback — early and often. Chicago is going to need to come into this game healthy, and with one or two more pass rushers than they currently have. If not, it’ll be a long day at Soldier Field.

Once again, I won’t make any predictions here, because rosters are no where close to set. However, I don’t see the Bears having a real strong chance in this one. I hope I am wrong.
