1. Yoan Moncada, 2B

Even though Moncada has earned himself call up recently he still comes in as the number one prospect not only in the White Sox organization, but in all of baseball. Moncada has all the tools of a star player in the making. He’s a switch hitter who does most of his damage from the left side of the plate but can be lethal from the right side as well.

Moncada made his debut with the White Sox this past Wednesday where he went 0-2 with a walk. Probably one of the few times a player will get a standing ovation for a walk. The crowd was in full support of Moncada and the excitement is amazing to see. It has definitely been a long time since Sox fans have had anything to be this excited for.

The good news he’s the first of many talented players to get call up, the bad news, don’t expect the White Sox to be very competitive from here on out.

Moncada is here to stay, just in small four game sample size have you can definitely tell that he has learned how to take pitches and cut down his strikeouts.

Next: Who will the White Sox trade next?

The Chicago White Sox still have a long road ahead of them but Yoan Moncada is the centerpiece of this entire rebuild. The Moncada era is upon us, ushering in the first true sign of the rebuild. Enjoy him, White Sox fans, Yoan Moncada is going to be a star.
