Laremy Tunsil, Tackle (6-foot-5, 305 pounds) — Ole Miss

Tunsil is the total package. He is big, strong, athletic and long. He is flexible and has light feet. He can change direction well, and makes it look effortless. He usually has great balance and stays square on the rusher.

In the Sugar Bowl this year, Tunsil not only had a great game on the line, he also caught a touchdown pass to boot.

Tunsil has a strong core, and he plays well at the point of attack. He has a good punch, and can recoil so he can hit the defender again. He has great technique, keeping his elbows in so he can hit the defender square in the chest.

Mel Kiper Jr. had high praise for Tunsil. He can see Tunsil going at three to San Diego, or he may even go as the top overall pick to Tennessee.

"He’s got the strong powerful hands, great feet, (and) great balance … just (a) tremendous pass-blocker. He’s a guy that gets after you with enough fire, enough intensity out there as a run-blocker to be able to be a complete left tackle. I think he’s certainly worthy of being in the discussion to be the No. 1 pick to Tennessee."

I believe the Chicago Bears should go with a linebacker with their first pick. There are quite a few linemen available in the later rounds, and the Bears have quite a few picks.

Tunsil is the exception. He is going to be a multiple Pro Bowl player. Having him and Long as book end tackles would be a great sight for Chicago Bears fans. He will probably go in the top five, but there are always some players who go down in the draft, and if Tunsil is available at eleven, Ryan Pace should run up to Roger Goodell himself and hand him Tunsil’s name.
