No. 2: Rose vs. Lillard

You know the “higher-ups” at adidas were all tuned into this showdown between their two biggest stars: Derrick Rose and Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard.
During the first game of a ESPN NBA Friday doubleheader, Rose and Lillard tore the roof off of the United Center for four quarters. Rose and the Bulls got the upper hand in a 115-106 win over Lillard’s Blazers.
In the shootout, Rose scored a season-high 31 points on 14-of-24 shooting and dished out five assists.
Lillard wasn’t too shabby himself, scoring 35 points on 13-of-21 shooting, including hitting seven of his 11 three-point attempts.
As great as Lillard was, Rose was simply better.
