Making five bold predictions for the 2017 Chicago Bears.

Ater an ugly 3-13 record last season, the Chicago Bears do not expect to be competitive in 2017. However, general manager Ryan Pace made significant changes to the roster over the offseason, many of which are for the better.

The Bears only won three games last season, but they suffered a ton of injuries and lost a lot of close games. The Chicago Bears lost six games last season by six points or less. With just a bit more luck in close games and on the injury front, the Bears could’ve flirted with .500. They were not a good team last season, but they were probably not as bad as their record indicates.

The Bears actually have a nice mix of young talent on their roster. With a few lucky breaks this season, they could quickly emerge as a sleeper contenders in the NFC this season. However, the most likely scenario involves the Bears finishing in last place in the NFC North.

Regardless of their record, the 2017 Chicago Bears should be an interesting team to watch. There is a lot of interesting young talent on this team that can grow together and become a force to be reckoned with in the NFC North. However, they will have to take significant steps forward in 2017 for that to happen.

While nobody can see into the future, we can take a look at many factors to make predictions for the upcoming season. In this post, we are going to make Bears’ predictions of the bold variety. Here are five bold predictions for the 2017 Chicago Bears.
