Who will end up being the primary contributors for the 2017 Chicago Bears in the secondary?

An obvious weakness on their team last season, the Chicago Bears made an emphasis on adding talent in the defensive backfield this offseason. In free agency, they added safety Quintin Demps, along with cornerbacks Prince Amukamara, Marcus Cooper and B.W. Webb. In the 2017 NFL Draft, the Bears also added safety Eddie Jackson to the mix in the fourth round.

They did not add any big-name defensive backs to the mix, but the Bears did a nice job of adding many players who can help them at a position of need. While the Bears’ secondary was a mess last season, there are also some returning players who have plenty of upside for 2017.

In particular, guys like Cre’von LeBlanc, Bryce Callahan, Adrian Amos, Deiondre’ Hall, Kyle Fuller Deon Bush and Sherrick McManis will be ready to battle the newcomers. While they do not have a ton of proven talent in the secondary, the Chicago Bears have many talented players who can make an impact in 2017.

With so many interesting players, you have to imagine that the Bears will find some combination that will work in the secondary. It may be difficult to find the right players, but I am confident in Vic Fangio and (to a lesser extent) John Fox’s ability to do so.

Who will end up being the starting defensive backs for the 2017 Chicago Bears? Let’s go through and make some predictions.
