Chicago Bulls veteran guard Dwyane Wade has targeted Saturday against the Brooklyn Nets for his return from a right elbow fracture that he suffered in mid-March.

Dwyane Wade has not played his last game with the Chicago Bulls.

According to a report from Vincent Goodwill of CSN Chicago, Wade is set to return to the Bulls’ lineup on Saturday night against the Brooklyn Nets. Wade suffered a fractured right elbow in mid-March and the expectation was that he would miss the remainder of the regular season. That will not be the case as Wade will be returning for the Bulls’ final three games of the regular season.

The Bulls currently hold the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference playoff picture. Though, the Bulls have the same record as the eighth-seeded Indiana Pacers. The Miami Heat are a half-game behind the Bulls and Pacers.

Bulls’ head coach Fred Hoiberg reflected while speaking with reporters on Wednesday on how Wade has looked during practice.

"“Dwyane was able to participate in a lot in lot of the contact drills,” Hoiberg said. “The big thing is getting his conditioning and wind and timing but it was great to see him out there.”"

Hoiberg is aware of that impact that Wade’s return could have on the Bulls.

"“It’d be great to get him back,” Hoiberg said. “You look at last night’s game, it would’ve been nice to have a guy to playmake and put the ball in the basket when we were really struggling in that area.”“When he’s ready to go, we’ll get him back out there,” Hoiberg said. “I’m sure we’ll have to have a little restriction on his minutes, hopefully, we’ll get him back in rhythm these last few games.”"

Wade’s return may not be what Bulls’ fans are clamoring for. It’s no secret that the Bulls would be best-suited missing the playoffs and guaranteeing a lottery pick. However, the Chicago Bulls likely will creep into the playoffs and further extend their stay in basketball hell.
